LOTLab: Lightlab
In this lightlab our focus lies on experimenting with different materials. On which surface does a projector or light stand out? When do we know we found the right surface to project on? And what benefit does it give do search for these materials?
We want to question the conservative way of projection and light design on a white wall or in the corners of a dance floor.

All these experiments will be accompanied by two live DJ sets so we can really dive deep into live visuals and projection.
Host:
Will Lopes is a Brazilian Butoh dancer, actor, performer, body trainer and theatre director. He finished his Bachelor in Theatre at the University of Brasilia in 2003 and studied theatre, dance, dance-theatre, dramatic body mime, physical comic, Butoh, circus, martial arts, and vertical dance. As a Physical trainer of performers he is specialized in the Brazilian technique Integral Bamboo. Since 2016 he holds a Master degree in Communication and Semiotics at Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo. Since 2018 he lives in Vienna and 2025 joined the leading team of Das LOT.
